I passed my test yesterday with no minors thanks to my instructor Abid. I first learned 5 years ago with no luck but after such a long break I was very nervous and anxious about driving again. Huge thank you to my driving instructor Dave Mackenzie. I passed first time today at Musselburgh. After many lessons with other instructors over the years (4 in total!) something finally clicked! Dave has a common sense approach to driving and gave my the confidence that I actually can drive. Dave is very professional never cancelled or was late for a lesson and the car was easy to use. I would highly recommend Dave Mackenzie for lessons. I am over the moon to have finally passed and first time was great! Thanks Dave!

“Pregnancy brain” and me being a complete over thinker about everything, he kept me calm and answered any questions I had. I had a regular weekly time slot which helped so much with having children and was always offered extra lessons if they became available.

If he thinks your ready and can do it, there is no messing about getting your test booked. Nerves, of course, can get in the way but he can see the ability which I didn’t think I had.

Absolutely love my driving lessons with Sam my instructor. She’s very reliable and very good at fitting you in with your own personal life as I have two young kids. Makes you feel comfortable and have a laugh while learning to drive it’s great. Would highly recommend! Been taking lessons for about 5/6 months now and am just about ready for my test!

Would just like to thank Sam, been learning to drive with her since February and passed my test first time yesterday. Would totally recommend her. She made my lessons very enjoyable and I looked forward to it every week. Going to miss the lessons but just so happy that I have passed my test.

I passed my driving test first time with Dave at the driving centre in Currie this week after 6 months of lessons. I had taken driving lessons a few years ago but gave up because I wasn’t very confident and didn’t enjoy driving. However Dave was a fantastic instructor. He helped me build my confidence and made the learning experience very enjoyable. Would I definitely recommend DMS to anyone looking to learn!

After 2years of having unprofessional instructors, I came across MDS! Got my theory and passed my test within 4months! Was hard doing a lesson and finding a baby sitter but Dave H managed to fit me in every week! Honestly can’t thank you enough!…highly recommended from myself and believe me I’ve had a few instructors so I know.

Passed my driving test with Dave Brown in Currie. Excellent driving instructor with the patience of a saint. Has a fantastic sense of humor and definitely knows how to make you feel relaxed behind the wheel. Dave asks EVERY lesson, what YOU would like to do or learn or practice. Passed test first time with one minor, I was taking lessons from both Chris (auto) and Dave (manual) , brilliant school and would highly recommend to anyone. Best feeling ever!!

I have just passed my driving test with ABID at the second attempt. I believed I was hard-done by the first examiner who failed me for undue hesitation at a busy Round About when turning right into the third exit. Thank God I made it the second time all due to my instructor painstaking approaches and great attention to detail. Abid is an excellent driving tutor who will go an extra mile to impact on you the required driving techniques and skills needed to pass the first time. He took me through all the rudiment of driving and lifted my confidence such that driving to me now as become a second nature. Just want to say a big thank you Abid. If I have to rate you on a scale of 1 to 10, I will give you 9.5

Passed first time with MDS and would highly recommend learning to drive with them! Thanks to my instructor Dave Brown who was very helpful. It’s great that he lets you make your own decisions on the road, and afterwards, you can reflect on whether you did the right thing. Also loved driving the brand new Audi!

I used to work with Sam and so she was an obvious choice as my instructor.

As a nervous driver I was made to believe in myself and she relaxed me whilst driving. She is also friendly and easy to talk to. I have already recommended someone who has recently started their lessons with MDS

Dave B is a great driving instructor, he teaches you in a calm, well planned out and structured way so you always know what stage you are at and how to improve. Thanks to Dave I passed 1st time and now feel confident driving about on my own. Couldn’t recommend a better instructor to learn with!
